Field Sales Engineer
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Sales Engineer to support our sales process and drive the success of our B2G (Business-to-Government) products and solutions. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in various stages of the sales cycle, from lead generation and customer meetings to requirements gathering and sales closure. This role requires significant time spent with customers at their locations, building and maintaining strong relationships, and working on sales closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Meetings and Engagement: Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to highlight the value of our customized solutions.
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new leads through networking, industry events, and market research.
- Requirements Gathering: Understand and document customer requirements to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the customer organization.
- Follow-ups and Sales Strategy: Follow up on proposals, push for meetings, and navigate the sales strategy to ensure the closure of sales.
- Competition Analysis: Analyze competitor offerings and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for bidding strategies.
- Bidding Support: Provide accurate and timely information to support bidding processes.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely proposal submissions and follow up on internal processes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in EE/EC/EIE
- At least 3 years of experience in the Defense industry, preferably on RADAR and EW systems working with DRDOs, DSPUs and ISRO.
- Domain knowledge, Architectures and Applications of RF Sensors: Radar, EW, Datalinks/Radios
- Understanding of RF Systems and Sub-systems, Signal Processing, and FPGA programming
- Understanding of test and measurement Instruments like Vector Signal generator and Vector Signal Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze market and competition data.
- Willingness to travel extensively to customer locations.
- Experience with CRM software and sales management tools.
- Technical background with an understanding of engineering principles.
