About the Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead the design and development of mechanical enclosures for electronic assemblies and systems. This role involves 3D CAD modelling, material selection, thermal and structural analysis, and close collaboration with electrical and manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality, rugged, and manufacturable solutions that meet environmental and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical enclosures, housings, and mounting structures using 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal fit, performance, and manufacturability.
- Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC, thermal, IP ratings, and other mechanical/environmental standards.
- Select materials (plastics, metals, composites) based on thermal, mechanical, and environmental constraints.

About the Role
As an Application Engineer for Signal Processing and HDL, you will be responsible for developing HDL compatible Model-Based-Design for signal processing and communications. Model-Based-Design includes the use of MathWorks' MATLAB, Simulink and HDL code generation and verification products.
