KSS 6: RTS Testing at Client Location with RADAR in Real Time

On 5th December 2024, @prashanth_kadudula01 led a session on testing the Radar Target Simulator (RTS), a vital tool for calibrating real-time radar systems.

The RTS generated echoes with precise ranges, velocities, and Doppler shifts, transmitted via a horn antenna to simulate realistic targets. These scenarios, from fixed to moving targets, allowed the team to evaluate radar accuracy, identify offsets, and refine range and Doppler decoding mechanisms.

By providing a controlled testing environment, the RTS proved essential for enhancing radar performance and reliability. Acknowledging Prashanth’s insightful session, the team gained valuable perspectives on improving radar technology. Curious about advancements in radar systems?
